Goodies Cordeel Top

Sustainable business is not a fashion trend for Cordeel, but a way of doing business. Join us in our mission for a better future and explore how our innovations can improve your (construction) project.

Sustainable business is not a fashion trend for Cordeel, but a way of doing business. We strive to have a truly positive impact on the world while delivering value to all our stakeholders. We are committed to decarbonisation and circular construction, work on innovations to reduce energy consumption and develop new concepts for bio-based materials. Our C-innovation unit accelerates developments in these areas across all Cordeel Group companies.

In our sustainability report we proudly showcase our commitment to a sustainable future.
Topics include among others:

Decarbonisation of buildings

Considering the growing demand for energy in buildings and the expansion of the building sector, it is crucial to reduce its carbon footprint. This can be achieved through the implementation of energy-efficient technologies, the use of low-carbon building materials in which green concrete will be an important factor, and the adoption of renewable energy sources. At Cordeel, we are aware of the challenge, see the many opportunities and developed several solutions to tackle the problem.

Accelerating the energy transition

Cordeel and its sister company C-energy strive to develop new sustainable technologies and applications that provide solutions to the challenges and opportunities presented by the energy transition. We hereby cover different aspects of energy management such as energy storage, energy hills, as a service offerings (Power-, Heat-, Efficiency as a service), energy sharing and electrification. By adopting our solutions, customers can pioneer new approaches to the continuously changing energy landscape, reduce their operational carbon and be at the forefront of sustainable energy.

Bio-based materials

Bio-based materials will play an increasingly important role in our stride to reduce the embodied carbon of our buildings and solutions. Through our sister company C-fire, we offer innovative and eco-friendly fire fighting solutions and systems. And C-biotech remediates historical contaminated soils (e.g. PFOS, heavy metals) in an ecological and natural way and in turn uses this industrial hemp as a biorefinery to produce biomass that can be used in insulation materials, hempwood, cladding as well as in engineered solutions. It is our ambition to structurally increase bio-based materials in our projects.

Digitalisation

Embracing the digital era, we are fully engaged in a transformative journey, exploring the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to further accelerate our processes and enhance overall efficiency. BIM (Building Information Model) is an essential component of the digital transformation we (and our sector) are going through. The main objective of a BIM process is to enhance collaboration by setting up a central platform that serves as a single source of truth/information.
